7 Days Uganda Safari Adventure

Day 1: Pick up from your Hotel and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park – Stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking – Visit Top of the Falls

A s you start your 7 Days Adventure in Uganda, you will be picked up early from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala and then begin your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. En route, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting rhino trekking experience, where you may encounter southern white rhinos and other wildlife species like Uganda kobs, bushbucks, warthogs, and a variety of birdlife. For example Abyssinian ground hornbill and grey crowned cranes. After lunch, you will continue to Murchison Falls, arriving in time for a visit to the spectacular Top of the Falls, where the Nile forces itself through a narrow gorge creating a powerful thunderous cascade. Expect sightings of olive baboons, vervet monkeys, and African fish eagles along the riverbanks.

Day 2: Full Day Murchison Falls National Park with Game Drive and Boat Cruise Experience

After an early breakfast, you will head out for a morning game drive across the northern savannah plains. This part of the park is home to elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, hartebeests, and hyenas. Bird enthusiasts may spot the saddle-billed stork, red-throated bee-eater, and secretary bird among others. In the afternoon, you will relax with a boat cruise along the Nile to the bottom of the falls, where Nile crocodiles, hippos, and waterbirds like the pied kingfishers and African skimmers thrive along the riverbanks.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park for Relaxation

After breakfast, you will depart Murchison Falls and begin a scenic drive to Kibale National Park, passing through rural countryside, tea plantations, and also crater lake regions around Fort Portal. You will stopover at the escarpment for picture moments. The journey offers chances to spot black-and-white colobus monkeys, olive baboons, and also colourful bird species including the great blue turaco and African grey parrot among others. Day 6: Gorilla Trekking Experience – Optional Batwa Community Visit

Early in the morning, you will head to the park headquarters for briefing before embarking on your gorilla trekking adventure. You will trek through the dense forest rich in biodiversity, where you may encounter forest elephants, duikers, and also primates such as L’Hoest’s monkeys and colobus monkeys. Birdlife here includes the African green broadbill, Shelley’s crimsonwing, and mountain masked apalis among others. Upon locating the gorilla family, you will spend a magical hour observing their behaviour in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, you may opt for a Batwa cultural experience, where the indigenous forest people will share their traditions, dances, as well as survival skills within the forest ecosystem.

Day 7: Return Drive to Entebbe OR Optional Flight Option to Entebbe

After breakfast, you will begin your return journey to Entebbe, enjoying scenic views of southwestern Uganda’s landscapes, crater lakes, and the rolling highlands along the way. You will stop for lunch en route before continuing to the airport or your hotel. Alternatively, an optional domestic flight from Kihihi or Kisoro airstrips to Entebbe can be arranged for a faster and more comfortable transfer, depending on your departure schedule.
